Why become a Domestic Energy Assessor?
Becoming a Domestic Energy Assessor is a new career opportunity which will allow expansion into wider areas of energy efficiency such as the commercial sector and public buildings. The job prospects are vast given the number of domestic properties alone that are sold each year (up to 2 million). You don't have to have any previous experience in this field, and once qualified you can choose to be self-employed or work for a company. The hours are flexible and potential earnings are high.
What does the course involve?
This course is spread over a maximum of 12 weeks. Training and assessment consists of 4 days in-house training with several hours of home study each week during the following weeks. The exam is taken online once the assignments have been passed.
